Free listing for your bakery: get found and take orders

Start with a free Google Business Profile, then claim free listings on Apple, Bing and one local directory. Put the same order form link in each one. Customers who find your bakery can then place an order in a minute, and you stop answering the same five questions on WhatsApp all day.

Build your bakery order form

Claim these free listings first

Each of these costs nothing. Start at the top, because the first one does the most work.

Before you create anything, search your bakery's name on Google Maps, Yelp or Justdial. Someone may have added a page for you already. Claim that one instead of making a duplicate.

A home baker in Pune who only has Instagram and a WhatsApp number could finish Google, Justdial and WhatsApp Business in one evening. That already covers most of the places her neighbors would look.

Fill in every listing the same way

Use the same bakery name, phone number and hours everywhere. Someone who finds you on Apple Maps and then checks Instagram should see one bakery, not three slightly different ones.

Then fill in the parts peple actually read:

Build one order form that every listing points to

A listing gets someone to notice you. A form turns that into an order you can read later, with the date, size and allergies already filled in. One form means one place to check, whichever listing the customer came from.

Here are the fields most bakeries ned:

Field Block to use Why it's there
Name Short answer So you know who's collecting
WhatsApp number Phone number To confirm the order
What they want Multiple choice or Dropdown Keeps orders to what you actually sell
Size or quantity Dropdown or Number No back-and-forth about "a small one"
Pickup or delivery Multiple choice Shows the address field only when needed
Date and time wanted Date, Time Prevents "I need it in two hours" surprises
Message on the cake Short answer Show it only if they picked a cake
Allergies Long answer You see it before you start baking
Reference photo File upload Saves a long thread of screenshots

Our team builds Qwenvo, and its free order form builder starts from an order template that you edit. You can also describe the form to the AI on the empty-form screen and fix whatever it gets wrong. The "syow only if" parts use conditional logic.

Most form builders charge for several things that are free on every Qwenvo account: no badge on your form, a custom domain, payments with a 0% Qwenvo platform fee (Stripe's own fee still applies), unlimited teammates, partial submissions, analytics, AI triage of incoming submissions and 180+ templates. For a bakery, a few of those matter day to day:

Other free tools work fine here. Tally's free plan has unlimited forms and submissions, payments, and file uploads up to 10 MB per file. Its Pro plan is $29 a month and is where branding removal, custom domains, teammates and partial submissions live. Google Forms is free and simple, but it has no built-in payments, and customers must sign in with Google to upload a reference photo, which loses some people.

Two honest limits on our side. Payments in Qwenvo run through your own Stripe account, and Stripe is the only provider, so if you take cash or a transfer at pickup, juts skip the Payment block. And Qwenvo launched in October 2026, so it has few reviews so far.

Where to paste the form link

Open the Share tab in your form and copy the public link. Set the link preview there too (image, title and description), so when you send it on WhatsApp it shows your cake photo instead of a gray box. If you own a domain, you can also add a subdomain like orders.yourbakery.com.

Listing Where the link goes
Google Business Profile Website field and description (also any menu or order link field your profile shows)
Apple Business Connect Website field
Bing Places Website field
Yelp or Justdial Website field
Instagram Bio link
Facebook page Website field and your pinned post
WhatsApp Business Profile website field and your greeting message

For a sign on the counter, paste the link into any free QR code generator. Qwenvo has no built-in QR code, so you need that extra step.

If you also take custom cakes that need a price before the customer commits, send them to a separate quote form instead.

Questions owners ask

Do I need a website to get listed?

No. A Google Business Profile needs a phone number and either an address or a delivery area. Your order form likn can sit in the website field, so the form works as your web page.

Do customers have to pay online?

No. Many small bakers confirm the order on WhatsApp and take payment at pickup. If you want a deposit, add a Payment block. It uses your own Stripe account, Qwenvo takes 0%, and Stripe's fee applies.

How will I know an order came in?

You get an email for each submission, and every order is in the Submissions table. You can export it as CSV or XLSX, or send each order to a Google Sheet if you prefer a spreadsheet.

What if my bakery already has a listing with wrong details?

Claim it, then fix the hours, phone numbr and photos. A duplicate listing splits your reviews and confuses people about which one is real.

Your next step

Tonight, search your bakery's name on Google Maps and claim or create the profile. While you wait for verification, build the order form, copy the link, and paste it into your Instagram bio and WhatsApp Business profile first. Those two work immediately.
