Mi Tradición is a counter-serve Mexican bakery and restaurant on East William Cannon Drive in South Austin. Guests pick pastries from large self-serve display cases with tongs and a tray, and fresh bread comes out often throughout the day.
Beyond pan dulce, there is a warm case of churros, a display of cakes, and a small cafe serving tacos, tortas and agua frescas. The folksy decor and steady flow of regulars give it a lively neighborhood feel.
