Texas French Bread on Rio Grande Street is a chill, cozy bakery and cafe. Mornings and lunch bring pastries, sourdough, sandwiches and brunch with mimosas, served quickly by a friendly staff. The outdoor space is pleasant when the weather is good.
From Tuesday to Saturday evenings the room turns into a bistro, with dishes like zucchini blossoms, steak frites, pork Milanese and Hyde Park Fudge Cake, paired with wine. Daytime hours are 7 am to 2:30 pm daily, with dinner 5 to 9:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

“Very cute spot for brunch! There was a bit of a line, but staff moved through it relatively fast. Speaking of, after ordering, service was incredibly fast and the staff were incredibly friendly. The mimosa and cherry tart were lovely!”
“I went here for dinner and got the Zucchini Blossoms, Steak Frites, and the Hyde Park Fudge Cake. Everything was great, except for the fries which were to salty to finish. They graciously comped my dessert, which was awesome.”
