Marimbas Guatemalan Bakery & Restaurant serves freshly made Guatemalan dishes on N Lamar Blvd, with a baker on site and coffee all day. Guests order garnachas, dobladas, hilachas, rellenitos, caldo and enchiladas on fresh tostadas.
The dining room is bright, with decorative paper hangings from the ceiling and a photo collage wall. Portions are generous, the horchata is not overly sweet, and the staff greets people warmly, which makes it a good spot for birthdays and weekday meals alike.
