Julio's Cafe is a Mexican restaurant on Duval St that has served Hyde Park for years, now under new owners who have kept the welcoming spirit and refreshed the patio.
The menu runs from breakfast tacos to its popular roasted chicken, with enchiladas, fajitas, pozole, chalupas, nachos and queso. Daily specials include a Wednesday street taco special and a Thursday chile relleno. Thick, salted chips and spicy red salsa arrive while you wait, and the covered patio has fans for warm days.
